Taegen Poles has the perfect name for a racecar driver. Poles are high on the list of things any racecar driver strives for and Taegen is certainly no exception. Her eyes are set on a future in motorsport, and she is looking forward to pursuing her passion. Coming off of last year’s Mosport Championship win, this year marks her tenth season in karts and first in cars.
Primarily based out of the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Taegen is making her debut in the Rotax Senior class on an FA chassis, racing for Kevin Glover Karting. She will be competing at a national level for an eighth season, and will be participating in her seventh Canadian National Championship at Mosport.
Additionally, she has signed with Brian Graham Racing in their Driver Development Program with the intention of racing full-time with them in the Toyo Tires F1600 series in 2016 starting her long awaited transition to cars. This past winter, Taegen also made her first appearance in the CASC Ice Racing series and came out with numerous top ten finishes.
